I’ve used Amblers twice now and they were wonderful each time. From the very first contact they take the stress out of a very sad occasion. They take excellent care of you and your loved one and want to make the funeral as personal and special as you want. They are kind and efficient and kept me well informed. I hope I don’t have to but I would use them again.

We recently used Ambler Brothers funeral directors for the death of our late son Dean Rabone. We would like to thank all the staff and in particular Caroline. We truly appreciated your guidance and kindness during this difficult time. Your attention to detail and support made the challenging process much more bearable. Ambler Brothers staff were immensely helpful and sensitive and the funeral was conducted in an exemplary way and entirely in accordance with our wishes.

I recently used amblers to sort the funeral of my dad who passed 23rd March the whole procedure was lovely we spoke to Lynne who arranged the date of funeral we were sorting a good 2 hours the flowers which was outstanding as Lynne was leaving to work at another branch Caroline took over again very helpful and polite however I do feel things could of been ran over what was discussed with Lynne the pastor Joan wow what a lovely person to do dads service she was amazing the only reason I’m giving 3 star which otherwise would of deserved higher is the fact dads ashes was placed in a Birmingham city council bag wrapped up we was not made aware of this and understand that this information could of been missed hence I would of appreciated Caroline confirming to us as to how ashes would come and be presented this however caused my mom further grief and upset when collected and mom did not sleep at all that night if collection crying uncontrollably of thinking her beloved husband of 57 years was in a council packaging. I honestly think to buy an urn in preparation so can be collected with comfort. however saying that they were lovely for dad although please note the photos of the blue bag is not amblers fault it’s from the cemetery and this is the case for all funeral directors my only issue is I wish I was pre warned as mom was so upset and I had to wrap the parcel in dads shirt as seeing the way dad was placed upset further so my suggestion is when dealing with the send off for loved ones please arrange the urn to be collected in I would not want anyone to go through the upset we did as it looks they promoted a product and not dealt with a love one

I would like to say a big thank you to Ambler Brothers for arranging the recent funeral of my late husband. From my first visit to make arrangements I found the staff to be supportive, considerate and compassionate. I was put at easy at every stage of the process. Ambler Brothers certainly made an emotional time as stress free as they could. I would like to say a personal thank you to Caroline who was a tower of strength to me. A truly outstanding professional company who I would highly recommend.
