"We received a book a little while afterwards where guests had filled in attendance cards, which was lovely to receive as many people that attended had not come to the 'do' so it was lovely to know they had been there to say goodbye."
— Elaine Bridle
"We chose to have the London bus as my Dad and a lot of guests were bus enthusiasts and this was a lovely way to get to the Crematorium and made a very sad occasion more of a celebration for my Dad."
— Elaine Bridle
"No matter how many times we changed things subsequently nothing was ever too much trouble. I felt a very stressful situation was dealt with by Lymns with care and compassion."

I would like to thank Lymms for their wonderful craftsmanship engraving my Dad's name onto the same headstone as my late Mum. The headstone was polished and re-installed in the Graveyard at Radcliffe-on-Trent and it was a lovely surprise to see they had even placed fresh flowers on their grave. Thank you so much. Elaine and family.

I cannot thank Emma and the team enough for their continued advice, support and kindness before, during and after my mums funeral. Their ability to empathise and provide comfort, whilst planning the funeral was amazing. The funeral day itself went perfectly, because of their experience and organisation. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Many thanks to all at A W Lymn for the absolutely brilliant service for my Dad’s funeral today. Everyone from the planner to the “team” that were there for us on the day. Everyone was so kind and supportive and worked so hard to make the day as special as it could be.

We used A W Lymn in Radcliffe on Trent in April 2019. Our experience was as stress free as it possibly could have been. We were taken through each option available, with costs, at a speed that suited us. I felt a very stressful situation was dealt with by Lymns with care and compassion and no matter how many times we changed things subsequently nothing was ever too much trouble. The day of the funeral went completely to plan and the wicker casket we chose was absolutely beautiful and so much nicer than we expected. The flowers had been done perfectly to our very specific requirements. We chose to have the London bus as my Dad and a lot of guests were bus enthusiasts and this was a lovely way to get to the Crematorium and made a very sad occasion more of a celebration for my Dad. We also received a book a little while afterwards where guests had filled in attendance cards, which was lovely to receive as many people that attended had not come to the 'do' so it was lovely to know they had been there to say goodbye as it was impossible to greet everyone after the service. I would not hesitate to recommend AW Lymns services.

Avoid at all costs, may look flash but that's just a front. Recently dealt with lymns after my nana sadly passed away. I was told she had been embalmed, when later on in fact in came to light that she hadn't been embalmed as decomposition had taken hold. I was given false information. Nothing could of prepared me for the condition in which I saw my Nana, she was referred to as a 'right mess'. When visiting in her in the chapel of rest, flies were coming out of her coffin, this was very distressing. She was purging from her orifices and had swollen to a considerable size but to gas and fluid build up. Her clothes had to be cut from her and were draped over her, leaving her undignified. Her lips and limbs were blackening and necrotic. The stench of decay was unbearable and to top it off the funeral director went off to get a drill and offered me to screw my nanas lid of the coffin on. She was in view of a publicly accessible window, laid out for all to see. Totally unacceptable. Matthew lymn the managing director is very unprofessional and clearly does not like being challenged. If you want your loved one to have any sort of dignity on their final journey, do not use this company !
