During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the funeral directors showed nothing but kindness, compassion, and respect. They cared for our loved one with such dignity, which brought us great comfort and peace of mind. Their communication was outstanding throughout the entire process. They kept us informed every step of the way, answered all of our questions with patience and understanding, and made us feel genuinely supported. We will always be grateful for the care they showed to our loved one and to our family. Their professionalism, empathy, and attention to every detail made an incredibly painful time just a little easier to bear. We chose Ballard & Shortall to handle the funeral for my Dad. Kevin and the team provided a first class service from start to finish at such an incredibly difficult and very sad time. We spoke to and met Kevin and immediately felt we were in safe hands. Kevin always took the time to listen and always explained everything clearly and in detail. This took an enormous amount of stress away from me and the family. Nothing was too much trouble and Kevin was always approachable and helpful. Kevin also recommend a most excellent Reverend and an amazing Florist. Further, Kevin assisted greatly with the order of service and subsequent printing. The finished document was brilliant. Dad's funeral itself, although traumatic, ran like clock work. The office administrative staff were also extremely helpful, Nicola in particular. At all times we were shown compassion. We have no hesitation in recommending Ballard & Shortall.

My mum and I can’t thank Kevin and all the staff enough that helped us say goodbye to my lovely dad. They weren’t just professionals, they were genuinely caring for us and my dad. We sadly lost our dear mum recently and only a year after we lost my lovely sister, we were in complete shock. We entrusted Ballard and Shortall with the funeral arrangements for both of them and we were not disappointed. The service they offered was compassionate, caring and thoughtful. We had some quirky requests for our sisters funeral and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Kevin, Lisa, Nicola and Claire provided great service and suggestions to help support us through this time and on the day of the services the team's were considerate and professional. They all made a difficult time a little easier.

Having never been involved in the planning of a funeral before, I went into the process not knowing what to expect but Kevin and the team held my hand through the whole process and made the hardest time of my life so much simpler and easier. They treated my mum with dignity, respect and care, and did the most incredible job in supporting us as a family every step of the way.
