Review for Barry Whalen Funeral Directors I recently lost my father very suddenly and Barry Whalen Funeral Directors were truly outstanding throughout this difficult time. From the moment they became involved, they were professional, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. They handled everything with care and respect and went above and beyond to arrange my dad’s cremation sooner than expected, so I could take his ashes home from Patna, to Newport, South Wales. I really don’t think these people get the respect they deserve… until somebody suddenly needs them. Losing my dad was a primeval emotion I’d never experienced before, but having such a dedicated and thoughtful undertaker made a world of difference. I can’t thank John and his team enough and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing a caring & reliable funeral service. It really did make all the difference. Thankyou John & team.

Excellent service from Barry and his colleagues after the death of my brother, Barry was professional and courteous ,everything was explained to me in a sympathetic manner, on the day of the funeral itself Barrys team provided and outstanding and dignified service and I would urge anyone to contact Barry for any funeral requirements,he really does all he can to make the whole process as stressless as possible, thanks again to all of you X

As this was my first experience of trying to arrange a funeral i was full of trepidation at the thought of making mistakes and letting my late husband down. Mr Barry Whalen walked me through every stage of the process with great consideration and patience. He was genuinely thoughtful and caring allowing me to phone him at any time day or night to share my concerns with him and to listen to me. I have never met a kinder more professional man who treated both my late husband and myself with such respect and dignity and i would certainly recommend him most highly to anyone looking for a sympathetic caring professional funeral director. Thank you for your kindness and all the time you gave unto myself at this most difficult of times.
