Claridge Funeral Service is a local, independent family funeral director based in Marlborough, Wiltshire, serving customers throughout Marlborough, Swindon, Hungerford and the surrounding areas. The business is owned and run by Mary, Richard and Daniel Claridge, longstanding members of the Marlborough community who have taken part in community events, fundraising and provided local employment.
The company was founded by Daniel Claridge, who began learning his trade at just 13 years old working for a local funeral service. After leaving school, Daniel studied at the Salisbury College of Funeral Sciences and went on to become the youngest qualified funeral director in the country at the age of 18. He holds a diploma from the National Association of Funeral Directors, of which Claridge Funeral Service is now a member.
Claridge Funeral Service offers a comprehensive range of funeral services including traditional funerals, simple funerals, direct cremations and woodland burials, all delivered with professionalism, empathy and care. The team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and prides itself on providing personalised, respectful funerals tailored to the exact wishes of the deceased and their family. Pre-paid funeral plans are also available.
