Clifford's Family Funeral Directors Limited is a truly independent, family-run business based at 450 Crownhill Road, Plymouth, Devon. Established in 2020 and named in loving memory of their father and grandfather Clifford, the company has been dedicated to supporting the local community with an honest, caring, and sincere approach to funeral care. Their services are shaped by the principle of how they would want their own loved ones to be treated, including the thoughtful practice of having ladies cared for by female staff and gents by male staff since the very beginning.
The team holds qualifications with the British Institute of Funeral Directors, reflecting their commitment to the highest professional standards. Their funeral home features a dedicated arranging room, the Edward Suite for family visits, on-site car parking, and disabled access throughout the ground floor. Arrangements can also be made in the comfort of a family's own home upon request.
Clifford's offers a comprehensive range of services including traditional, contemporary, bespoke, and green funerals, as well as direct cremation and funeral plans. Their silver Ford fleet includes a hearse and limousine, with additional options such as horse-drawn carriages and motorbike hearses available. They serve Plymouth and the wider Devon and Cornwall areas.

— Wendy Burrows (about Fern, Zac, Sam)
"Although Clifford's are a relatively new, family-run business, their professionalism and care make them feel like a company that's been setting the standard for generations. If I could give them more than five stars, I would. A genuine 10/10."
— John Shewbrook
"It has been an honor to us to know my nan stayed in a building full of compassion and respect. Fern and Zach have made us proud that we gave my nan such a lovely send off. Thank you Clifford's from the bottom of our hearts. From start to finish and beyond you was outstanding."
— Gordon Thomson (about Fern, Zach)
"From the very first phone call we were greeted and treated like family. Nothing is too much for them and kept us in the loop with everything that was happening with our loved one. Even checking in and keeping an open door after the funeral. Dad/Kevin was treated with the upmost respect and dignity at all times. If we could have given more stars then we would have."
— Michelle Mackney (about Matt, Sarah, Fern, Zach, Sam, Mark, Anya)
