Colin Hayley and Tapper Funeral Service is part of the family-owned and operated Tapper Funeral Service, a business with roots dating back to the turn of the 20th Century. From the time we walked through the front door the service was absolutely second to none. Caroline is outstanding her attention to detail & care shown is a gift nobody can be trained for this type of service. Mike the celebrant made the short service so personal and his gift of directing personal details to my uncles wife was exceptional. Having had to arrange several funerals in the past this was by far the best all because of Caroline & the team. We went in again today to pay the balance and collect the Ashes & again she gave us as much time as was needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thank you Caroline & the team.

What an incredible service we have received from this organisation. Our father lost his partner quite suddenly on Christmas Day. A terribly sad day for all the family. Myself and my sister, supporting our father at such a difficult time, weren't sure who to approach as we are not from the area. We had a couple of suggestions but decided on Colin Hayley & Tapper Funeral Service. We are extremely pleased that we did. We called to make enquiries and arranged an appointment with Caroline. From the outset we were put at ease. Caroline is wonderful, her ability to discuss the practical aspects of arranging a funeral, to her compassion and feeling, in a relaxed, caring atmosphere really are second to none. We had a few complexities to discuss and Caroline suggested several potential solutions for our needs. From that initial appointment to the day of the funeral is a long and difficult journey, again Caroline was there to assist us, nothing was any trouble, she suggested we use a celebrant for the service; Anna is a genius with words and delivered an incredible service, again full of compassion and care, following input and instruction from the family, along with photographs and music, she delivered a lovely celebration of the life of our lost loved one. We had some lovely feedback from the congregation following the service. This is a company full of expertise and genuine compassion, dignity and care. Thank you once again for everything. Stephen & Tracey on behalf of our father Tony.

Caroline has been outstanding in supporting my dad through the whole process from start to finish. Her compassion and empathy have shone through at what is an emotionally fraught time and it genuinely felt like we were dealing with. Caroline and Anna showed dad such compassion on the day which meant an awful lot to him. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

As parents we have had to do the most hardest thing, during such a huge difficult emotionally time. Their compassion, support and professionalism was a great comfort. Caroline went above and beyond ensuring our son had the very best send off. Taking us through every step. Nothing was ever to much trouble for her Her guidance and knowledge was above and beyond. We can not thank them enough for such care and dedication. Thank you so much for taking care of our son Nathan.
