David took care of everything with professionalism and kindness — from organising the crematorium and preparing the order of service, to introducing us to the wonderful Celebrant, Helen Clarke, who was the perfect fit for our family. When we were faced with the difficult and rather daunting task of finding the right funeral directors to look after our dad’s funeral arrangements, we knew we wanted an independent family business. The moment we walked into David Nunn’s, we knew we had found the right people. David strikes the perfect balance between professionalism, dignity, empathy, and pragmatism. When a loved one dies, there is so much going on emotionally. David took away a huge number of the practical considerations in a calm and collected way, and made us feel we were in really safe hands. Importantly, being an independent family business, it never once felt corporate or cold. From our first meeting to the final handshake at the graveside, David and his entire team have been fantastic, and I could not recommend them highly enough.

David’s service was outstanding! From the first day we met him to the final day we said goodbye, he was so professional, empathetic and accommodating. He helped us deal with the saddest time you could ever imagine, from the passing of a loved one, to the funeral arrangements, finding the right person to speak at the funeral about our dad, and then to the final goodbye. Because of this it all seemed some what easier to deal with. He made the whole process very personal and he is such a friendly, caring person. He was always at the other end of the phone for any questions we may of had. Overall it was amazing service, to a very high standard. We cannot thank him enough.
