The funeral home offers a prompt and personal 24-hour service, 365 days a year, and is the only purpose-built funeral home within an 11-mile radius. Their facilities include the largest funeral church in the area, with fixed seating for 140 or more, as well as dedicated rest rooms for viewing. Their modern fleet of Jaguar hearses and limousines in two-tone black over royal claret reflects their commitment to quality and presentation.
In addition to funeral services, Douglas Funeral Directors provides a full professional monumental service covering new headstones, additional lettering, and renovations, along with bespoke pre-arranged and pre-paid funeral plans. After-funeral catering is also available on request, and the team assists families with everything from newspaper notices and charitable donation accounts to bereavement benefits, ensuring comprehensive support at every stage.
