— Suzanne Lai (about Dani)
"Bella was incredible; she approaches her role with a genuine care and compassion. I cannot think of any way in which they could have been more accommodating and understanding of our needs in an extremely difficult time."

We had outstanding service from Gillman Balham at a time of sadness for our late mum’s funeral. From the first meeting with Dani, we felt that she was professional, easy to talk to and guided us through all the options. She was patient, responding to emails on the same day. No request was too small or too much of a bother, even opening earlier than usual to allow for viewings. Billy, the funeral director, and his staff were very respectful and answered all the questions we had on how the plans for the day. A big thank you to Dani and the team for making all arrangements with the day going as smoothly as planned. It was a fitting and respectful send-off for our mum. I would highly recommend the Balham Gillman branch - they will exceed all expectations.

From the point of first contact Dani, Darren and all the staff were respectful, caring and extremely helpful throughout a difficult process. Their guiding and professionalism is excellent. I would highly recommend their services if, sadly, you are ever in need.

Ellen looked after me and my family. She is a credit to your team, really thoughtful. I was very comfortable talking to her. She kept me fully informed and took extra steps to add personal touches when she knew lilac was my mums favourite colour.

Ellen Bishop, our first contact, was very helpful and suportive in guiding us through the process and then kept us fully up to date and informed at all times up to the funeral.

Recently used E A Gilman to arrange a close family friends funeral. With little experience of planning a funeral, the staff at E A Gilman and in particular Estrella from the Balham branch were ever so helpful and patient with our ever changing needs. This was a very stressful time for our family with many challenges and moving pieces but Estrella remained patient and accommodating throughout the ordeal.-Jeremiah
