Eaves Funeral Service has been proudly serving the local communities of Whitehaven and Cumbria for over 60 years. Established in 1961 by business partners Derek Crosby and William Eaves, who began trading as joiners and undertakers under the name 'Crosby & Eaves' from premises at Flatt Walks, Whitehaven. The business moved to its current location on High Road, Kells, Whitehaven in 1970, and has remained a trusted presence in the community ever since, growing through generations of the Eaves family.
Following Derek Crosby's passing in 1974, William Eaves continued to build the business with the support of his wife Margaret and father William Snr, later joined by his brother Richard. The family tradition continued with William's son Philip joining in 1992, son-in-law Mike in 2007, and daughter Julia in 2008. Now part of Funeral Partners Limited, Eaves Funeral Service continues to uphold its heritage and reputation for professionalism, kindness, and dignity.
The dedicated team at the Whitehaven funeral home is committed to creating tailored funerals that reflect the unique life of each loved one. They offer a full range of services including cremations, burials, green and woodland funerals, unattended cremations, and repatriation, and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Prepaid funeral plans are also available to help families plan ahead with confidence.

While arranging the funeral for my uncle I did meet a number of people at the premises but Laura and Michael were the people I dealt with directly, they were wonderful and made me feel comfortable and very supported and such friendly, approachable people.
