My two sisters & I can absolutely & without a doubt recommend Dorian & his team, at G Harries & Son. They are definitely the very best of the best Funeral Directors. Dorian was so very helpful, supportive, caring, understanding, efficient and communicated with us every step of the way, regardless of the time of day. He was so patient but also very personable and he made sure we knew that nothing was too much trouble or couldn't be done. We lost our dear dad very suddenly and Dorian made this awful time somewhat easier. He helped with every detail big and small from dressing dad perfectly, exactly how we wanted, to celebrant recommendations, all aspects of the funeral service, music, photos, flowers, timings, order of service etc. He stayed on later in the day so we could visit dad in the chapel of rest, presenting everything thoughtfully and perfectly. He gave us plenty of time, letting us put our special things in with dad, even offering a comforting hug and kind words before we left. We ran through the funeral service the day before as, in his own words, "you only get one chance to do it perfectly and that's what we will do, I will make sure the day goes perfectly", which he did. The day went seamlessly, a beautiful and loving service, managed efficiently, respectfully and quietly by Dorian and his team. Dorian personally bought our dads ashes round to us, again presented in such a caring and lovely manner. We specifically asked for a small amount of dads ashes for each of us to use for a personal item such as jewellery, and these were presented in a minature metal urn in a velvet drawstring pouch - this was extra special and we were very touched. Even the presentation box with the USB stick that had dad's service recording on, was beautifully presented. Dorian was the perfect blend of kind and considerate, and clear and helpful. He was very happy to answer all our questions and made a difficult time much easier. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

Both father & son have supported me in at very difficult times, over the last 10 years they have been there & laid to rest 5 members of my family. They are respectful, caring & give so much dignity to the individual that's passed & to family members. If there were more people like them the world would be a better place.
