Noble Funeral Directors Ltd is a long-established, independent funeral director serving the people of Thanet and surrounding areas from their premises at 1 Northdown Road, St. Peters, Broadstairs, Kent. Founded in 1854 by Henry Noble, formerly of his grandfather's funeral and furniture-making business in Canterbury, the company has built over 170 years of experience providing funerals with dignity and respect.
The firm combines traditional values with modern practice, offering a comprehensive range of services including direct non-attended cremations, simple funerals, bespoke funeral arrangements, cremated remains dispersal, repatriation and transport both within the UK and abroad. They also hold the records for interments in St. Peters Churchyard and Garden of Remembrance. Notably, H. Noble does not charge for standard services and coffins for those under 18, and manages the Child Funeral Fund on behalf of families.
H. Noble Funeral Directors Ltd is a member of both the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and the Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), and is subject to regular NAFD inspections to ensure the highest standards. The company is also regulated by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and all funeral arrangers are qualified through the NAFD.
