On behalf of my children and myself, I would sincerely like to thank everyone in the Henry Ison & Sons team who were involved in the planning and handling of my late wife's funeral arrangements which were carried out from start to finish with considerable professionalism, dignity and respect. We really appreciated the wonderful help, support and guidance provided in particular by Debbie Harris at their Kenilworth branch. Debbie's empathy, kindness and all round professionalism were a constant in seeing us through this very sad and difficult period. We would also like to thank all background staff involved with presenting my late wife so serenely for us to visit the Chapel of Rest before the funeral. Although very emotional, it was very peaceful and dignified.Special mention should also be given to Wendy who provided us with such comfort and guidance on the day of the funeral, as well as that little extra spark of empathy that all the congregation picked up on so well. Finally we were especially grateful to their appointed Celebrant, Carol Brankin who created and delivered such a personalised service that whilst acknowledging our overwhelming sadness on the day, also inspired us to treat it equally as a celebration of my late wife's life as well.

After my wife Joan died very suddenly I decided to use Isons in Kenilworth. At the time I knew nothing of them other than the premises looked clean, tidy and very professional when we had walked past. The staff responded very quickly and took my wife to their premises. I was soon in contact with the Kenilworth branch to discuss arrangements. The lady there, Debbie Harris, was extremely helpful and very friendly. She helped me to choose the service required and even helped me to choose the outfit my wife would be wearing.During the several visits to discuss arrangements and to bring things for the cremation Debbie was only too happy to sit with me and chat, this helped me to bear the sad times and lift my mood. Her professionalism during visits was amazing too when I went down to sit with my wife. I cannot recommend this lady too highly. Whatever Isons are paying her is definitely not enough. On the day the Isons team were superb, led by the wonderful Wendy they made everything happen smoothly and were always there ready for anything needed.Robert Hardy, for Joan.

The day went like clock work. I had no idea who to choose. After all my order was still so young and I never expected to be arranging her funeral so soon.Henry Isons did not add to the stress i I was already feeling. For any other service I’d be saying that I’d definitely use them again but I dined want to think about that for a long time to come.

I can’t praise Jenny and Elizabeth at Henry Ison enough. Jenny had organised my Mum’s funeral 2 years ago. Her empathy and attention to detail was outstanding, When I sadly had to bury an elderly close family friend this February, I didn’t think twice about using Henry Ison. Again, the service that Jenny provided was faultless. The service and organising the cremation was not straightforward. One member of the family was living overseas and Jenny liaised with him on a regular basis and navigated her way through difficult and complex family relationships. The actual ceremony was lovely and ran very smoothly with the help of Elizabeth the director at the service. I cannot recommend Henry Ison in Kenilworth enough. Jenny made such a difficult and emotional time, so much better than I would ever have anticipated.

Jenny Ireland and Darren , Funeral Director for our mother's funeral, showed the utmost compassion and care to mum and also to us.Never having had to arrange a funeral before, we all found Jenny to be very supportive to the whole family and helped us every step of the way not just before the funeral but also afterwards. We would recommend Henry Ison & Sons without hesitation - they helped to make a difficult time more bearable and to make the funeral a respectful celebration of our mother's life.
