John Fraser and Son is a family-run funeral directors and monumental sculptors based in Dingwall, Ross-shire, operating from Lovat House on the High Street. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, the business has been serving the community since its establishment in Inverness in 1884, with the Dingwall funeral home opening in 2013. The current proprietor is Vicki Fraser, who took over from her father, Ian Fraser, in 2014, continuing a tradition of personal, professional service that has earned the trust of families across the region for over 140 years.
The Dingwall branch offers a full range of funeral services, including attended and unattended funerals, pre-paid funeral plans, and memorial masonry crafted by skilled craftsmen. The team is available 24 hours a day, any time of day or night, ensuring families can always reach someone who will be personally involved in their arrangements from the very first call through to the day of the funeral.
The branch prides itself on transparency in pricing and a compassionate approach, with no extra charges for out-of-hours meetings, local collection and delivery of ashes, viewing of the deceased, or customised cortege routes. The office is open Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 3:30pm, and the team can also be reached by email at [email protected].
