Deeply upsetting experience after years of trust My family has used John Nodes Funeral Service, Ladbroke Grove, for decades and always trusted them to treat us with care and respect. Sadly, my recent experience arranging my relative’s headstone engraving has been deeply upsetting. Despite months of clear communication and follow-up, my emails and calls were ignored, and important information that should have been explained from the start was never given. The communication was dismissive and insensitive, and I have still not received a response or even an acknowledgement to my formal complaint — not from John Nodes or Funeral Partners Ltd, who own them. After so many years of trust, it is upsetting to be treated this way at such a difficult time.

I cannot recommend John Noodes enough. Robin and his team were outstanding when dealing with my dear mothers passing. Everything was taken care of and the level of love and care was incredible. Robins personal touch from the service to our visits to the funeral home was like they were part of our family. I suggest you keep it local as their level of service was spot on and it help us deal with our mums death. It made the whole process feel comfortable and caring from this wonderful team.

We recently entrusted John Nodes Funeral Service with the cremation of my dear brother, and I can honestly say the care, professionalism, and compassion we received were exceptional. From the very beginning, Nina and Sonya were simply outstanding. Their warmth, empathy, and attention to detail carried us through every step of the process. They listened with real sensitivity, and nothing ever felt rushed or routine. They made sure that Charlie’s farewell reflected who he truly was — thoughtful, vibrant, and loved. On the day of the cremation, everything was handled with quiet dignity. The service was beautifully put together and ran seamlessly thanks to the care and coordination behind the scenes. It gave us comfort, peace of mind, and the space to say goodbye properly. Nina and Sonya, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your compassion made all the difference during such a painful time. Well, what can i say... I don't think I'll ever be able to express how grateful I am to Robin and his team. Robin took care of my mum Catherine brilliantly. At such a difficult time, Robin continually put me and my family at ease, and it turned out to be a service that all who attended said was a beautiful send-off. Instead of wearing all black, I asked if everyone attending could add a bit of purple, Robin, and his team also took this on board and really went for it with a beautiful purple theme and added some lovely touches that I didn't even specify, but he just knew that we as a family would love. they all looked so smart. My amazing mum would have loved the look of it all.
