Absolutely fantastic service. I had no idea where to even start with arranging the funeral for my husband Mick. I was recommended to Averil Phillips and spoke with Tim. All I had to do was register the death and they took care of everything else. Tim contacted me regularly to go through literally everything and offered so much reassurance and empathy. On the day, everything went exactly as planned and it was a wonderful send off. Tim even checked on me a couple of days after the funeral which was so kind. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their services. A completely overwhelming task was handled for me with such kindness and compassion and it helped me so much in such a stressful situation. Thank you all so much but most of all my thanks go to Tim - I couldn't have got through it without you. Many thanks.

Averil Phillips.... I would like to send each and every member of your staff the biggest thank you ever. The moment I stepped into Averil Phillips in Kettering I was made to feel at ease. Richard explained each and every little detail clearly and with so much dignity. From redesigning your Chapel of rest, making me feel calm and knowing you had everything in hand, was such a weight of responsibility off my shoulders. The compassion shown by your pallbearers when mum was brought home was flawless. On my Mums Funeral day the Averil Phillips team were impeccable, taking control, doing everything I had asked to make my mums day special, setting the pace for walking behind the hearse, walking in the rain, to organising family pallbearers, nothing was to much for the team. I would highly recommend Averil Phillips to anyone who is looking to give the best send off to their loved ones and also know that you will be cared for in the process.

We were wonderfully well looked after by Wendy at Averil Phillips in Oundle, for our mother’s funeral. They were gentle, flexible and very accommodating. They pulled together everything we needed for a very fitting and moving ceremony. They know all the local churches and their vicars very well, and are clearly held in high regard by them. Also they gave us great recommendations for catering for lunch afterwards. A big thank you from us!

A personal heartfelt thank you to Averil Phillips at Kettering for the support, guidance and compassion they have showed myself and Mum during a difficult time full of loss and grief from the passing of my Dad. Each visit we made in person we were always warmly welcomed and even though his funeral has passed Averil continues to still support us in the days after. I would certainly recommend their services to those when needed to care for your loved ones. Thank you again.

I would like to thank Tim, Tim looked after us as a family after my husband died just before Christmas. Tim went out of his way to meet with us when the office was closed. The support received i believe was outstanding. He kept my children updated and also checked in with them regular just to see how they were.
