Although it was three years ago I feel I need to tell of my experience regarding my Mother. Mum's presentation was poor, looks like her hair was not washed, I have washed my mum's hair and I know it would look better than that, there was excess wax around her mouth, her lips were pale, I asked for some lipstick but the wax would not let me apply. They could of done a better job of my mum's face, to me poor. They asked me to bring mum's clothes, which I did, but you could only see my mum's top half of body, and she looked scrunched in the coffin, although I met the Celebrant and discussed everything a few days before the service I received a call with a problem with the music, I was angry because the Celebrant was aware of the music and I should have not been informed. When I met the Celebrant I asked if the music would be a good volume, she said it would be beefy, but the first piece of music was to low, it was a classical piece, the second piece was too loud and the third classical piece was again too quiet. The undertakers were first class, especially I believe Paul the head undertaker.

Lodge Brothers hosted a wonderful service of remembrance at The Chapel Royal at Hampton Court on 9th December 2021. It was a truly memorable experience with Carols and beautiful music from a harpist, the organist and the choir. An amazing setting, the service was conducted with dignity and sensitivity and the right amount of positivity and moving forward. My parents would have been honoured to be a part of it. Thank you.
