Located at 19-20 Holloway Street, near Exeter City Centre, the business has been serving the local community for over 100 years, making it one of the most longstanding funeral directors in the area. The premises include offices, Chapels of Rest, garages, and workshops, providing an informal and comfortable environment for families to discuss and finalise funeral arrangements.
The business is currently run by Martin and Marc Sillifant, a father and son team representing the 3rd and 4th generations of the family, who together bring over 60 years of experience within the funeral profession. They are committed to providing the highest standard of care and value for money from the very first point of contact.
M. Sillifant & Sons offers a wide range of funeral services, including traditional funerals, woodland burials, eco-friendly funerals, and bespoke arrangements tailored to individual wishes. They also offer pre-paid funeral plans and can accommodate unusual requests. Offices and Chapels of Rest are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am–4.30pm, with evening and weekend appointments available by arrangement.
