Miles and Daughters Funeral Directors

This was sadly my second experience of having to use a funeral directors. I went back to Irene at Miles & Daughters, Crowthorne because of the excellent service I had from her last time. She did not disappoint and it felt like going back for help from an old friend. Having been through the loss of my dad with her and now my mum, it really helped me to see a familiar face at such a sad time. Irene and her team are empathetic, kind, caring and the communication is extremely efficient. All the proceedings on the day were so professional, everything ran very smoothly and the celebrant, Trish Goswell, was excellent. I would absolutely recommend.

Irene showed us excellent care and compassion, she was knowledgeable, kind, and guided us through the full funeral process. She listen to our requests and was able to act on them to ensure the funeral fully reflected the wishes of our father. On the day of the funeral every member of staff we met was exemplary. Thank you for making a hard day less difficult.

The whole handling of my Mum's passing was made easier by the handling of the Miles and Daughters team. I mainly dealt with Irene who had a great way of understanding what I was feeling and mirroring my approach and feelings.

Irene Turner guided me through the funeral arrangement with sympathy and professionalism. Colin Hawkins, the Celebrant, met my daughters and me at home and guided us with the tributes, music and poems. One friend described the funeral as 'uplifting'.

I have to say my experience of using Miles and Daughters has been fantastic. From the start to finish Irene has been a most helpful, compassionate and kind person. Nothing was too much trouble and she made what was a difficult time a lot easier. Thank you Irene for your knowledge and experience in arranging my Mum's funeral.
