Miller Bros. & F.P. Butler Ltd is a privately owned, family-run funeral directors established in Christchurch, Dorset, in 1910. Founded by the late Alfred George Miller, the business began primarily in building and decorating before becoming a trusted provider of funeral services to the local community. Over the decades, the business passed through the Miller family before Stuart Major, who joined in 2003, purchased it in 2011 alongside his wife Helen. Their daughter Jessica joined the team in 2018, and in 2024 Jessica's husband Kenni joined, ensuring the business remains a true family affair with deep roots in the Christchurch community.
Located at 119 Bargates, Christchurch, the team prides itself on delivering the highest standard of funeral service and support, offering a personal 24-hour service for those in need. As members of the National Association of Funeral Directors, they adhere to a strict code of practice. Services include traditional burial, traditional cremation, and direct cremation options, all handled with compassion and professionalism that has earned them an outstanding reputation across generations of local families.
