"Gavin inconvenienced himself and made sure to help me make the right choice for my family. He knew that if I made a mistake and regretted, there would be no turning back. Today I have 'welcomed' my elderly back home thanks to the tireless work of Gavin and his team from first to last."

As someone who wanted to prepare ahead of time for my elderly parent, I contacted Peace Funerals and several others to get information a few months before the actual 'departure'. Unlike some, Gavin responded promptly to each of my questions clearly, and never chased me for my 'business'. Their pricing was easy to understand, and I felt a sense of genuine empathy in their response. So eventually when my elderly passed, I immediately called Peace Funerals while waiting for the paramedics to come and ascertain the situation. After the paramedics left, I called Peace Funerals again and they already had their team on standby, reaching my premises in less than an hour. The gentlemen who came to take my elderly were gentle, sensitive and discreet in their approach, giving us the emotional space to bid my elderly goodbye. The days after, Gavin helped to direct me with all the paper work, giving me suggestions, and detailing every aspect which I had never thought of before. I must say that he went to the point of making his work cumbersome just to make sure I thought through everything - he knew that if I made a mistake and regretted, there would be no turning back. So Gavin inconvenienced himself and made sure to help me make the right choice for my family. As we were able to choose a cremation date early on and acquired all the papers in good timing, the actual cremation and then the return of the ashes went very smoothly. Today I have 'welcomed' my elderly back home thanks to the tireless work of Gavin and his team from first to last. Yes, I recommend Peace Funerals as trustworthy people, especially when there can only be 'one take' and no one wants anything to go wrong. Thank you again, Gavin and Team Peace Funerals.

I could not speak highly enough of these guys - they have dealt with the deaths of my dad (2 years ago) and recently my mum. We even lost money on a funeral plan we had in place because we wanted to use them again (and the plan wouldn’t let us). They go above and beyond with their genuine care and professionalism. Latterly we dealt with Gavin who was such a kind and supportive man.

Peace Funerals did a great job with all aspects of my Father’s funeral. The level of compassionate support from Gavin was exactly right and Carl, the celebrant arranged for us, showed great sensitivity in capturing my Dad’s personality during the service. The Order of Service stationary arranged by Gavin was spot on and the flowers were beautiful. Peace funerals made a difficult day much more bearable.

Peace Funerals gave my wonderful Nan a beautiful last journey. Gavin and the team were wonderful. Gavin was empathetic and caring throughout. We really couldn't have wished for any better. A wonderful team, that should be incredibly proud. On behalf of my family and my Dear Nan (Brenda Gray) Thank-you so much. X
