Shires have been amazing. Warm, informative and respectful. Beth handled everything for us, asking the right questions at the right time and supporting us throughout the whole process. She also shared how caring they were to my Dad when he was in their care. These little touches meant the world to us. On the day, everything went well, a wonderful goodbye to a wonderful man. Shires were the essence of what a good goodbye should look like. I highly recommend them.

This company were outstanding from start to finish. I could never thank them enough. We honestly felt supported and cared for from the first meeting with Shires. I would like to thank Beth, Rosie and John, especially, for making this emotional journey bearable. Kind and patient and very sincere. The attention to detail was just lovely. These people are born to do this and we felt their very gentle loving support throughout the entire process. Thankyou everyone at Shires.

My grandad ‘Franco’ was recently looked after by Shires. Beth and Hannah have been amazing at looking after grandad and the rest of the family. Beth showed great support during arrangements and handled everyone with care and respect. Beth - you made that whole thing so much easier for all of us. Thank you for doing everything to ensure the best day, you really did go above and beyond for us and we appreciate it so much. Thank you for your kindness and compassion I’ll never forget it. Our chapel visits were as lovely as they could be. Clean and calm environment for us. Special thanks to the embalmer & team for preparing grandad, he really did still look like himself I cannot thank you all enough. On the day of the funeral everything was in order we didn’t have to worry about anything. The funeral director John as always is just the best. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to lead the day. John - thank you for everything you have done and continue to do. You really are one in a million.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Bethany, Hannah and John during such a difficult and emotional time. Bethany was absolutely incredible – so kind, helpful and understanding throughout the whole process. She really took the time to listen, showed genuine care, and made us feel supported every step of the way, which meant more than words can say. Hannah was also amazing. She was so supportive, caring and reassuring, and helped make everything feel more manageable for us. Both their kindness and compassion really stood out and meant so much to our family. John was brilliant on the day of the funeral. He made sure everything ran smoothly and handled every detail with professionalism and care. His calm and respectful approach helped make the day feel special and meaningful for our family. We are so grateful for all their support, compassion and dedication. They all made a very hard time a little easier, and we truly appreciate everything they did for us.

First Class service at such a sad time with my mother’s passing. Beth and Hannah are the best and John leading the day of Mums funeral. She had the best send off and all she would have wanted. Thank you Shires for making a sad time a time of reflection and carrying me through all I had to do. Being patient and kind. Can’t thank you all enough.
