I would like to express my families absolute gratitude to Sam and the team for the care, organisation and compassion they demonstrated throughout the planning of my dad's farewell and on the day itself. Although dad was resting closer to home in Hatherton Street, Walsall, Sam was our chosen Funeral Directer due to his professionalism, compassion and understanding we received previously following the death of my uncle several years ago. Worries and concerns we as a family were experiencing were taken away from us by Sam and resolved with no issue. The communication between the two branches was second to none and we honestly can't thank Sam and the team enough. We would also like a special mention to the florist as the flowers were outstanding and everyone attending dads farewell made a comment regarding how beautiful they were. Sam was always available to contact and if he was busy he would return the call as soon as he could. We would not hesitate to recommend Sam and the Chesterfield team or Hatherton Road team to anyone. Excellent service, from the start, calm and peaceful environment for dad to rest. Thank you all so very much.

Truly dreadful experience. Woman we saw had forgotten that we had appointment then brought the wrong details of deceased person into the meeting then left to find the correct file followed by further mishaps. Would not recommend using the West Bar office.

Supposed to be there for those who have passed and those that are near to them too. But they've never considered either the 1 that has sadly passed or their close 1s and make out that they are speaking the truth (which is lies). Wish I could say I'd recommend, but I can't.
