The Rugby Funeral Home is a family-run funeral directors established in 2001 by Lesley Morris and her family, based at 104 Hillmorton Road, Rugby, Warwickshire. The business was built on a deep commitment to serving the local community, and the team takes pride in providing personalised, compassionate care to families during their most difficult times. Lesley completed her Diploma in Funeral Directing (Dip FD) in 2010, and in 2016 she was joined by her daughter Amy, who went on to earn her Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration (Dip FAA) in 2018 and her Diploma in Funeral Directing (Dip FD) the following year. The team was further strengthened in 2023 when Siobhan joined as a funeral arranger and director.
At The Rugby Funeral Home, the belief is that every funeral should be as individual as the person who has passed away. The team works to accommodate every requirement, offering support before, during, and after the service for as long as it is needed. As members of professional organisations, they adhere to a strict code of practice regarding pricing and conduct. Additional services available include funeral plans through Ecclesiastical Planning Services Limited, financial assistance for those on lower incomes, and access to an individually tailored floristry service. Their aim is to help families through difficult times and turn a sad occasion into a treasured memory.
"Having approached other funeral homes in the Rugby area, The Rugby Funeral Home were easily the most professional, understanding and helpful. Their candour, communication, and professionalism shone from the moment we spoke to them through the entirety of the funeral."
— Matt Zero
"Lesley and her colleagues could not have been more attentive when my father passed away unexpectedly. Extremely caring and helpful at a very difficult time."
— Julie Graham (about Lesley)
"James listened and created the perfect funeral for my father. He helped to personalise the funeral to our needs and helped to take away the stress of organising the funeral at such an emotional time."
— Dipesh Mistry (about James)
"Amy, I can't thank you enough for what you and your team delivered yesterday. It was the perfect send off for our dad. The attention to detail was perfect. Your engagement throughout was perfect. We had so many comments from those that attended saying what a beautiful service it was."
— Elaine Hayes (about Amy)
"James has now arranged both my parents funerals and I couldn't have hoped for a better funeral director. Mum and Dad would have been so pleased with both send offs. James was meticulous and caring the whole way throughout the process."
— Adrian Russell (about James)
"My 23 year old son was murdered in February 2019 and Rugby Funeral Home looked after myself and my family, not only when he was transferred there, but even before the coroner released his body back to us. Lesley, Lynda and Amy went over and beyond their call of duty to ensure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. I honestly feel that I have made some friends, I've never met such lovely compassionate people."
— Charlotte Marshall (about Lesley, Lynda, Amy)
