Was there a will?
Even if you're not sure where it is, knowing one exists can change the process.
This can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to figure it out alone. A probate specialist can walk you through the next steps — no obligation, no pressure.
That's one less thing to worry about. If anything changes or you'd like a quick confirmation, a specialist can put your mind at rest.

"After a glowing recommendation from a friend, we wanted to use a local company who really cared. Ashley was simply terrific. He was caring, understanding and made one of the hardest things we've ever had to deal with as simple as possible. My family and I were humbled by the service."

"He was attentive to every person, making sure everyone was supported in making their final goodbye. From start to finish, the service we received was outstanding. The lasting memory will be one of positivity."

We've used WS&S twice; once for my father over a decade ago and then last week for my mother. "Absolute Class" is the phrase that comes to mind. Professional, empathetic and immaculate. The cars and hearse were presented beautifully, and the whole process was flawless and courteous. David was an absolute gem and his team were fabulous. We are very grateful to have had access to their services.

So I used Wilf Smith and Son to arrange my grandads funeral in March as had to used them previously used them to arrange my Dads funeral in 2021. Excellent services and communications from Helen always quick to respond to emails and nothing was too much trouble. Julie was excellent on the day itself made sure everything was perfect and where I needed to be and when. Made what was a difficult time very calm and smooth. Everything I woud of liked was done. The team at Wilf Smith were amazing in supporting my family as we prepared for my Grandad's funeral. David, our funeral director and Helen the arranger were quietly kind and compassionate, treating us with the greatest care. Nothing was too much trouble and queries responded to quickly. On the day of the funeral, David was efficient and professional, making sure that the service ran smoothly. However, he went beyond that. He was attentive to every person, making sure everyone was supported in making their final goodbye. From start to finish, the service we received was outstanding. Arranging a funeral is not an easy task, but it was made far easier by the work of this incredible team. The lasting memory will be one of positivity.

Exemplary service by Sheila in the office and David "on the day". The funeral was arranged at distance as I did not live locally. I could not have asked for more. Superb....

This company sponsored this years light a life memorial service at the Coventry myton hospice. It was a lovely evening and I personally want to say a big thank you.
