Simon and Craig have now carried out 2 family funerals for us my Dads and Yesturday my grandads. Both occasions they have been absoutley amazing from the very first phone call to them dropping us off at the wake. Every single detail they have it covered and both are such lovely genuine lads its a privilege to call them a friend. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough to everyone.

We would like to thank Craig and Simon for their amazing service when taking care of our lovely Mam and Nana. To say we would recommend would be an understatement. The brothers genuinely care and they are the most approachable and down to earth people. No question or request was ever too much and we always felt they were there for us day or night, this made the most unbearable time of our life’s that little bit easier. Thank you’s so much. ❤️

Having chosen Craig and Simon to conduct our dads funeral, we knew from the start we had made the right decision. They were extremely supportive and very professional, taking the time to listen to us, and embraced everything we wanted for dads funeral. They handled everything with such care and professionalism - all the arrangements, the ceremony and the finishing touches we requested were met. They were there every step of the way, answering our questions and finalising the smallest of details, making sure everything went smoothly on the day. But it wasn't just about the arrangements - they showed so much kindness and compassion to our whole family also. They really helped us celebrate dads life in a way that felt personal and special. Craig and Simon went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful for everything they did. We couldnt have chosen anyone better to look after our dad on his final journey.

From the very first contact, to when Craig and Simon came to collect mam from her home we knew we had made the best decision by going with the Thompson Brothers & Sons Family Funeral Directors.Craig was so easy to talk to and the smallest of details didn't go unnoticed they were so heart warming, we knew mam would be well looked after. The care, dignity, compassion plus support was second to none. Craig guided us through every step of the way during this very difficult time, and took alot of the pressure and stress off our shoulders, you made such a difficult time more bearable and always just a phone call away. We can't thank Craig and Simon and the team enough for their kindness, support and professionalism nothing was ever to much trouble, we certainly did choose the best. Family by name, Family by nature!! I was fortunate to cross paths with Craig and Simon many years ago, and went through school with them. Myself in Craigs' year and my sister in Simons' - good lads! Over the years, I had attended funerals and seen Craig in his official capacity, always respectful and polite. Fast forward several years and my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she decided to reach out to Simon and arrange her own funeral. From this point, I saw Craig and Simon completely differently yet exactly the same as I had all those years ago! Nothing was a problem for them and whatever they could do, they did. What they NEVER did was false promise! From working very closely with my sister, Vicky, and her daughter, Sophie, the details of the funeral were discussed between them to ensure Vickys' wishes were respected and met, from casket to songs. Every interaction was respectful, informative and exactly as they said it would be. The care given to Vicky was second to none and I honestly feel they treated every member of our family as if they were one of their family, with Vicky benefiting the most from their care - as you would expect. The thought that went into the service showed how they understand the business they're in, understanding the number of people who would come to pay their respects so ensuring a double slot was booked to make sure we didn't feel rushed was a very personal touch! While Thompson Brothers & Sons Family Funeral Directors is a business, we never felt this to be a transactional relationship due to the care and compassion Craig and Simon showed us all. Thank you for making a poor time, a truly manageable experience and the best funeral service I've ever attended, due to their recommended Humanist, Graeme Flaxon too. You all made the final act with Vicky, such a special, personal and memorable one! Thank you Craig, Simon and your fellow colleagues.
