Turner & Son is an independent family funeral directors based in March, Cambridgeshire, with a heritage stretching back to 1887 when David Turner, a Carpenter, Builder and Undertaker, founded the business in Chapel Street before relocating to the current site on City Road in 1900. Over more than a century, the business has passed through four generations of the Turner family, evolving from a combined joinery and funeral practice into a dedicated funeral directors known for its compassionate, professional service to the local community.
Today, Turner & Son is run by Mark Turner and his wife Corinne, who became a partner in 2016. The business underwent a major redevelopment in 2017, which saw the construction of new facilities including garages, a workshop, a florist shop for Corinne Turner Floristry, and a memorial showroom. The firm opened March's first purpose-built Chapel of Rest in 2002, reflecting their ongoing commitment to improving care for the bereaved.
Turner & Son offers a comprehensive range of services including 24-hour personal service, private chapels of rest, pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter, green burials, horse-drawn and motorcycle funerals, floristry, stationery, and catering. They are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and SAIF, ensuring the highest professional standards.
