Welham Jones, Swanley

When I first walked into see Donna, I was a heartbroken mess. My mum had already expressed that she wanted Welham Jones in Swanley to direct Dad’s funeral because of their fantastic reviews (they weren’t wrong). So I walked in for what I intended to be a brief chat with Donna. She immediately made me feel at ease. Donna gave me all the time I needed, and it felt so easy opening up to her. (Which I did). I was in a complete muddle of emotions, but Donna made all my emotions feel validated. She gave me all the time I needed, and that was just our first meeting. I went home, spoke with Mum, and booked an appointment to arrange Dad’s final day. Again, she gave us time and didn’t rush us. We went through everything in fine detail so that Dad would have a beautiful service, which was what he deserved. And that was certainly delivered. Donna and her team allowed us to give Dad a beautiful day. It was like she was part of our family in the way she helped and cared for us and Dad. I will be eternally grateful. From the coffin, florist, wake, celebrant. Everything was perfect. All of the team were immaculately dressed, professional, and respectful to Dad and our wishes. If I could give a billion stars, I would.

I can’t thank Donna and her colleagues, at Wellham Jones Swanley , enough for making my husbands funeral so special. From beginning to end they were so professional, kind and caring. Nothing was to much trouble. Donna and Jill, the celebrant were a wonderful team working together and I am so glad I used Wellham Jones on Barry sad but special day. Thank you all. Linda x

From beginning to end, the service was excellent. At such a difficult time, we were treated with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect. The team was realistic, attentive, and truly listened to what we wanted, always respecting our views. We never felt rushed or pressured, and we were treated as individuals, with our specific needs understood and honoured throughout. Their professionalism and care made a very hard experience feel more manageable, and we are deeply grateful for the support we received.

I would 100% recommend Welham Jones. Donna at the Swanley Branch dealt with my mums funeral with the upmost care and consideration. If it wasn’t for Donna I don’t think I would have been able to cope as well as I did. My mums funeral was a beautiful day made all the better by Welham Jones and their wonderful staff.
