White Dove Funeral Home

White Dove facilitated my mother's Funeral last week, and they made the day as easy as it could have been under the circumstances. They were always at the end of the phone when necessary, and with their help the day ran extremely smoothly. So thank you White Dove.

I thought I would leave a review as they were recommended by many of my friends, about how good the white dove for the service and their care for what they do. Making the first phone call, to entering the doors of the white dove funeral service. You are made feel welcome, they listen to what you have to say and what you would like arranged for the lovely send off for your loved one. Flowers were made amazing. Being helpful when it comes to choosing the hymns and the words spoken of the day of the funeral. The care and respect what was given and the service to the to the burial was done so beautifully. We can't thank White Dove enough for looking after our dad at this extremely difficult time. Our main point of contact was with Karen who was very comforting and reassuring that our dad would be looked after and went above and beyond with our requests. Our dad chose the Direct Cremation and we were surprised with everything that came with that plan. I would also like to thank Gregg and Samuel for looking after dad from start to finish. Would highly recommend and thank you again .

This was my first time having to arrange a funeral. I was called around 1:30am with the news our stepfather had passed. Around 1 hour later 2 guys from white dove arrived at the care home. They were so professional and polite. They explained to me very clearly the next steps to be taken. They just made me feel at ease. Onto the funeral arrangements and Karen was my goto. There was no rush with the planning, my mum was involved via WhatsApp which wasn't a problem. Nothing was rushed at any point during the process. They liaised with the church the flowers just everything really and put me in touch with the reverend of the church we really wanted, who had met my step father and mother previously. She happened to be conducting a carol service in my mothers care home on the morning of and sat with her privately for some prayers. On the day the bearers could not of been more caring, polite and sensitive. I was guided on the process of carrying the coffin and whilst carrying as the pathway seemed quite long. The service went as expected with a send off we hope he would of liked. I cannot say thankyou enough to the entire team at white dove. Hopefully I will not need to call upon you again soon but when needed I would not consider anyone else.

White Dove certainly provided that service. Your Funeral Home allowed us to plan a fitting funeral for our beloved Mum, Nancy, who passed away on 11 August. During all our meetings and communications with the staff, particularly Matt, the Values of your Funeral Home shone through. You helped us arrange a lovely service for our Mum, one that will last in our memory for many years to come. You were always there to listen, and you came up with solutions to any problems, treating all of us in the family with dignity and respect. Finally, you maintained the highest professional standards, enabling us to feel confident that our Mum’s final journey would run smoothly. White Dove liaised with all the different services that were necessary to plan the funeral and to make sure the service ran effortlessly. That included the parish church of St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (Fr. Tony and Mary) in Dunstable, Mary at Dunstable Cemetery, the manufacturers of the coffin, the florists providing the flower arrangements, the printers who created and printed the Order of Service, the company that provided the two white doves that were released at mum’s grave. If we have forgotten anyone, please pass on our sincere thanks. On the day of the funeral, you made sure that everything was in place, and you guided us through all the ‘events’ and processes of the service. You treated our Mum, all the family and our friends with dignity and respect, making us all feel ‘special’. It seems strange to say, but it is meant as a sincere compliment, that White Dove created a day that we will always cherish and remember.
