Ewing Funeral Service is a small, independent, family-owned and operated funeral directors based in the village of Kelty in West Fife, Scotland. Trading under the motto 'Our family, caring for your family, for three generations,' the business has been serving the communities of West Fife, Kinross-shire and surrounding areas since it was founded by John Ewing in 1970. Their main funeral home and office is located at 114 Main Street, Kelty, and they are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Over more than 50 years, Ewing Funeral Service has had the privilege of caring for hundreds of families at their time of need. The business is a partnership under Scots' Law, known as Ewing (Kelty), and is currently run by partners Margaret Dow BA, LFBIFD, Ewan Dow, and Kevin Dow BD, MBIFD, ensuring that professional expertise and a personal touch remain central to everything they do.
The firm prides itself on transparency around funeral costs, providing a full Standardised Price List in compliance with the Funerals Market Investigation Order 2021. They have continually invested in their facilities and fleet, including a modern Coleman Milne Ford Mondeo Cardinal hearse and a range of discreet removal vehicles. Ewing Funeral Service also offers prepaid funeral planning options and is a member of the NAFD.
