F Irving & Son is a family-owned and family-run funeral directors based in Frizington, Cumbria, with a proud history of serving the local community for over 60 years. The business was founded in the early 1960s when Fred Irving purchased it from his former employer, and it has remained in the family ever since, passing through generations with the same commitment to quality and care. Today, brothers Malcolm and Stephen Irving manage and administer all funeral arrangements, continuing the legacy built by their grandfather Fred and father Keith.

Arrangements can be made at their family lounge or in the comfort of a client's own home.
F Irving & Son offers a comprehensive 24-hour, 365-day call-out service and is a proud member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, adhering to their Code of Conduct. Services include pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter, funeral vehicle hire, and published funeral notices. The premises at Main Street, Frizington were renovated in 2014 to create a modern lounge and Chapel of Rest.
"Malcolm and Stephen organized an excellent funeral for my Mother. They were professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The flowers were beautiful and the catering for the tea afterwards was perfect."
