G Saville and Son Ltd has been serving the community since 1875, when the Saville family founded the business in Southwark. The Kenton, Harrow branch is part of this long-established, independent, family-run funeral directing firm, originally trading as L.J. Butler & Son Ltd before being acquired by G Saville and Son. With a history spanning nearly 150 years, the business has been managed by successive generations of the Saville family, bringing continuity, expertise, and a deeply personal approach to funeral care.
The Kenton office is overseen by Manager Mr Lee Cook, working under the direction of Adrian Saville, who has over 35 years of experience in the profession. Adrian holds the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma and is a fully qualified, licensed Funeral Director with the British Institute of Funeral Directors.
G Saville and Son offers a comprehensive range of funeral services, including all paperwork, coffins and caskets, vehicles, flowers, catering, repatriation, and pre-payment plans. The team embraces funerals of all sizes, religions, and cultures, reflecting the diverse communities they serve in Harrow and the surrounding areas. A 24-hour telephone assistance service is available outside of regular office hours.
"They were very efficient, kind and considerate and steered us through the arrangements, organising everything with care and minimum hassle for us."
— Angela
"Debbie, the prime contact was a star. A small family run business that gives a personal, sympathetic service and practical advice through a very difficult time. No hard sell here."
— Gerald Hawkins (about Debbie)
"Not expected but would respond to my emails in the evening, always came back to us promptly and guided us through everything superbly. I am sure you wouldn't get the service we received from more well known national companies."
— Richard Sinclair (about Lee)
"You guided me every step of the way when organising my Late Father's Funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and your kind, professional support has meant so much to me and my family. Lee was wonderful today when guiding the boys and all our wishes were carried out perfectly, with the utmost compassion and respect."
— Jacinta Jones (about Lee, Debbie)
"No upsell, no pressure just compassion and kindness from the first call to the final goodbye."
— Bill Franklyn (about Lee)
"The words THANK YOU! are not enough to tell how much we appreciate the hard work you put in to servicing our Mother's funeral. This most difficult time in our lives, was made less painful due to the duty of care you showed to our beloved mum and to the whole family. The only reason I am giving your company a 5 star review is because the option of a 10 star review is not available."
— paola cala (about Lee, Debbie)
