Gore Brothers Ltd is a family-run, independent funeral company with a history stretching back to 1831, making it one of the most established funeral service providers in Kent. The Ramsgate branch, located at 56 Queen Street, is part of a network of six local offices serving the communities of Ramsgate and the surrounding areas with the same dedication and compassion the company has offered for nearly two centuries.
The company was founded when Thomas Grant Gore became involved in funerals as early as 1831, and by the mid-nineteenth century, Thomas Gore and Job Gore had formed the family company known as Gore Brothers. Today, Gore Brothers Ltd is run by four partners — Philip Gore, Michael Gore, Kevin Nicholson, and Alex Gore — and is supported by a dedicated workforce and a fleet of Mercedes and classic Daimlers.
Gore Brothers Ltd is a proud member of the NAFD and offers a comprehensive range of services including traditional and bespoke funeral services, direct cremations, eco-friendly and custom coffins, ashes urns and caskets, floral tributes, and memorial options.
