I cannot praise the staff at Haine & Son enough, from the first tearful phone call to Rhia, right up until our Dad's funeral. Rhia, Jodie, Venessa and team were fantastic. They handled everything sensitively and with compassion. Communication was excellent throughout and it really felt that they were looking after just our family. Rhia chose the perfect celebrant, Steve, to conduct our Dad's service. It was a wonderful afternoon, with the perfect amount of humour, which completely matched our Dad's personality. It was not a sombre affair and I think my Dad would have loved it. Big thanks to Jodie for looking after us on the day of the funeral itself and for taking photos of the flowers. We were confident that everything was looked after, from the initial planning meeting, to the order of service, the visual tribute, the livestream and for the chapel of rest visits. All our requests were catered for. I would recommend Haine & Son, Polegate 100% and would definitely use their services again. For what was the most stressful time in our lives, Rhia & team couldn't have looked after us any better than they did. What a privilege it is to be able to help families in their hour of need. Without a shadow of doubt the ladies at Haines, Polegate, Rhia, Jodie and Vanessa are so professional. That is just the tip because they all in their own way add so much more to a time of sadness and stress with their total empathy, compassion and always attention to the smallest detail. Nothing was too much trouble, they were with you through the whole sad process which in turn helped enormously and touches of humour were also hugely valued. From planning the Order of Service to reflect every facet of my husband's life, to the additional help with scanning photos and making the actual ceremony so very special. Thank you to the exceptional team at Haines & Son in Polegate for looking after my mum’s funeral arrangements.
