Le Roy Funeral Service at 298 Topsham Road, Exeter is a branch of an independent family funeral business established in 1950 by Mr Stanley Le Roy Priaulx. The business has been run by the Wreford family since Martin Wreford was appointed manager in 1968 and subsequently purchased the business in 1974. Today, brothers Andrew and Nicholas Wreford continue the family tradition, supported by a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing compassionate, courteous, and efficient care to bereaved families.
The Topsham Road branch opened in early 2013 as part of the company's further expansion in Exeter. It features a private chapel of rest with complete facilities and on-site private client parking, serving the east of Exeter and surrounding areas including Topsham, Exmouth, Cranbrook and beyond. Notably, this location is the nearest funeral home to the Exeter & Devon Crematorium.
Le Roy Funeral Service offers a range of services including a Traditional Funeral Service, a Simple Funeral Service, and a Direct Cremation option. The company operates a 24-hour personal service and is a proud member of both the NAFD and SAIF. They are also actively community-minded, supporting numerous local charities and organisations including Devon Air Ambulance, Hospiscare, Macmillan Cancer Support, and the Royal British Legion.
