Susan Whymark Funeral Service Ltd is an independent, family-run funeral business serving the Diss, Norfolk community from their premises at Denmark House, Carmel Works, Park Road. The Diss branch was opened in 2024, expanding the business that was originally founded in Eye, Suffolk in 2004 by Susan Whymark and her mother Dianne. Susan became a funeral director in 1996 and gained her National Association of Funeral Directors diploma in 1998, bringing decades of professional experience to every family she serves.
The business prides itself on being a trusted, small, independent operation free from the constraints of larger corporate or group-owned funeral companies. As a fully accredited member of both the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and SAIF, Susan Whymark Funeral Service adheres to a strict code of conduct, delivering a calm, sensitive and personal service to each family.
The Diss branch offers a comprehensive range of funeral services, including burial and cremation, direct cremation, religious and non-religious funerals, eco-friendly funerals, and pre-arranged funeral plans. The team is available 24 hours a day and takes great care over every detail to ensure that each funeral passes smoothly and with dignity.
