A.W. Lymn - The Family Funeral Service Carlton

We used Lymns at Carlton Nottingham. Emily and the team were exceptional with information and advice that I needed at the time of the passing of my Dad. There support was amazing leading up to and on the day of the cremation the day will stay with me always as a celebration of his life. Thankyou

From our very first contact, A.W. Lymn at Carlton treated my brother’s funeral arrangements with dignity, professionalism and genuine care. Emma, who was my main point of contact, was outstanding. During an incredibly difficult time, she was compassionate, patient and quietly reassuring. Nothing ever felt rushed or burdensome, and her calm guidance gave me confidence that everything was in safe hands. On the day itself, Mark looked after us and was a true gentleman. His respectful presence and thoughtful manner brought a quiet sense of steadiness to what could have been an overwhelming day. Grant, who drove the hearse, conducted everything with such composure and professionalism. The entire team from the church through to the graveside worked seamlessly and with great respect. Every detail was handled with care and precision. My brother was laid to rest with the dignity he deserved, and for that I will always be grateful. I can find no faults, only commendations. I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff here for their care, kindness and warmth. We're so grateful. They made my Gramps's funeral so special, with nothing being too much, every question answered with genuine care and warmth. Jess was a gem, she was responsive, kind and attentive to anything we needed. Mark, the funeral director on the day, was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a kinder person to have carried out the service. He was so respectful, explained every step, never rushed us, and was so gentle with all of us. I just can't tell you how grateful we are. It was everything we hoped it would be for our gramps and more. Thank you to all of you xx (I have posted this on both Arnold and Carlton as I know that Mark is based in Carlton and Jess in Arnold and both deserve the credit!)

I lost my husband on 24/04/2023. The Carlton branch of A. W. Lymn’s looked after him for nearly 5 weeks until his funeral. Nothing was too much trouble. Jessica, Paul and Mark were amazing. They supported me throughout and guided me in the planning of what turned out to be an amazing send off for my husband. We selected the London bus to take him on his final journey and it was absolutely awesome. Neville drive it and made sure we had a great experience. I cannot praise the team enough. They helped me select a fabulous celebrant called Lisa who was also incredible. The funeral was at Gedling crematorium and the team there were also fantastic. Many many thanks for a great final journey for my husband. Massive shout out to Jessica especially. She was an absolute superstar.

My father, Hedley, was taken to A.W. Lymn Carlton in the early hours of 15/12/'22 and we were very well supported by Jessica from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and she remained professional, compassionate and considerate to our feelings and needs. From start to finish, the process was flawless and for this we as a family are eternally grateful. Anne
