Our experience using Haine and Son at the challenging time of our mother’s death was very positive. Communication about all aspects of the funeral was clear and kind and respectful. It was particularly helpful to be contacted frequently in the run up to the funeral with reassuring reminders and questions that we had not thought about. This gave us all a sense of confidence that everything would work well. Friendly, clear and respectful…professional in a warm and relaxed way Dh. Karunavira (some of the deceased)

We were delighted with the service Haine and Son provided. They are sensitive and gentle, they explained things, slowly giving us time to take in all the information. They looked after Stephen beautifully for us. The day of the funeral went off to plan, the cars were discreet and their drivers efficient. It was marvellous to be driven on that all important day. Many thanks to the team from us all.

What usually happens after arranging a funeral

Most families arrange the funeral first. Dealing with the estate often comes next — something many people don't realise at the time.

There's nothing you need to do right now. A quick check can help you understand what to expect later.

Often comes up when:

  • Banks ask for paperwork
  • Property is involved
  • Uncertainty about a will
